Christmas etc.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas (or any other form of winter celebration). Mine was good, mainly because of this:

. Mmmm...turkey cooked by my momma! And Christmas tree decorated courtesy of me and my bros. When describing our masterpiece we tend to say "it looks like someone ate a load of christmas decorations then threw up all over a tree." Don't ask. It's post-ironic. Obviously it represents all the chaos of the modern world, the slow deterioration of the human condition and soul...or something. It also shows that our decorating skills haven't evolved since we were toddlers. As you might infer from the sudden addition of photos to this blog, I was given a digital camera for Chistmas. Since it won't be long before I'm at university in England, the plan is to keep a record of this last year in Spain, including pictures of all my regular haunts, favourite places, moments and people, so I won't get too homesick. I'm already planning how I'll decorate my room at uni with this stuff...which is slightly sad. The day after boxing day me and various other people went to one of the aforementioned favourite places. We call it "The Roly Park of Doom," or sometimes just "The Pipes." We climbed over my garden fence, trekked through the neighbour's almond tree field, past the marshes and the haunted house, then followed a trail of smashed up toilet seats to get there. It's a pile of construction material, namely large concrete pipes you can stand, jump and dance on. From the top you can see the lighthouse, far-off sky-scrapers and the sea. We stayed there until it got dark, feeling like something out of a Famous Five novel. It was beautiful :) And I took this picture: In further news, I went to see Avatar 3D. Amazing film, go see it. Now. Especially if you want to look like this: I'm currently listening to Together by the Raconteurs. :) So I'm feeling good :) Goodnight xxx
